MC75 replica road

McIntosh's classic vacuum tube amplifiers are nothing more than these two, the MC275 stereo power amplifier and the MC75 mono power amplifier. Otherwise, McIntosh would not continue to produce these two models to this day, which lasted more than half a century. When it comes to McIntosh's history, it is known that they have come from the mono and tube amplifier era. The first work was the 50W1 tube power amplifier, which was released in 1949 and began to use the Unity Coupled Circuit. 2009 is McIntosh's diamond anniversary. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of its founding, the MC75 made its first comeback, and together with the C22, a set of three machines, it was reproduced in a limited gold version (limited to only 180 sets worldwide). The MC75 monopole vacuum tube power amplifier provides a classic design with modern performance standards. It has all the functions to meet the needs of today's music lovers.
Our new MC75 is a one-to-one replica of McIntosh's 75 mono pure power amplifier by a Taiwanese audiophile team after years of research and improvement. The components and paired tubes are carefully selected at all costs, and the sound is more realistic and flavorful than the modern replica tubes on the market (many of which use inferior KT88 tubes at a cost of dozens of yuan). The whole set of machines is handmade, so the order period is relatively long. The vacuum tube automatic bias adjustment technology independently researched is not available in the MC75 on the market (detailed introduction below). The large and extra-large power transformers of the MC75 provide abnormally high power and dynamic response from a pair of KT88 output tubes, once again setting the performance benchmark for tube amplification. With such a large power, it can easily drive both hundreds of thousands of large floor-standing 15-inch speakers and ultra-low sensitivity boxes, and the voice of the tube amplifier is more rounded, delicate, and emotional. Transformers are the soul of tube amplifiers. Each transformer is wound by the Taiwan audiophile team according to the precise algorithm of McIntosh MC75. All are made of single-piece oxygen-free copper with a purity of 99.99%. MC275 has a stereo output power of 75 watts, while MC75 has 75 watts per channel, separating the two channels to achieve better channel separation. Equipped with McIntosh's special Unity Coupled Circuit, it can provide lower distortion, better frequency response and longer vacuum tube durability, which also makes McIntosh tube amplifiers timeless. There are two over-supplied power transformers and output transformers on the back of MC75, which give MC75 strong power and excellent dynamic performance. MC75 provides XLR input and RCA input, and the input sensitivity is adjustable in two stages of 0.85V and 1.7V, which can respond to the output level of different front-end equipment. The output part provides 2 ohms, 4 ohms and 8 ohms, and various speakers can be well matched. The new Taiwan version of MC75 has a more delicate and clean sound than other remakes, and it is more emotional and powerful. No matter how hard or how big the speaker is, it can be easily driven by MC75. The sound is sweet and soft, natural and caring, and the wide sound field is especially wonderful when listening to large orchestral music. You can easily feel the distinct layers of voices, the ups and downs of the music, the thick and full sound base, and the rich and strong low frequency, which makes the music full of power and vitality.
